Interesting gizmo...

They mention an "oil-filled epicyclic gearbox" and I'm wondering what it is
they mean by that.

Makes me think of the gearing I encountered when I last took my cordless
screwdriver apart, but at that time I was thinking of the phras "planetary
gears", or at least that's what came to mind as I was trying to deal with
putting it all back together after all the gears fell out.

I wonder if driving one of these in reverse would work? The primary function
of it as it's originally used seems to be giving more torque for speed, so
working it the other way around seems possible.
