Printer Port Voltage Problem. neeeed help

Hi all'

I' am facing a problem with the printer port pins: When I start the
computer some pins randomly have 5V dc and others don't before
starting any program. If the pin is used for Step/Pulse input has 5V
the Rutex board dos not recognize it and no movement happen.
When I restart the computer the pins voltage randomly change and I
have to re-lock for the zero voltage pins to use them for Step/Pulse.
I faced this problem on Two different computers one is AMD and the
other is Intel . what should I do to solve this?
