I'm using the CNC4PC Index Pulse Card on my lathe and it works
perfectly with Mach 3 for screwcutting.
The disk I'm using is about 60mm diameter with a 2.5mm wide slot( 2
hacksaw cuts as close as I could cut them and filed ).
I'm only screwcutting M16x2 threads at around 350 RPM ( until I get a
carbide screwcutting tool ) and allowing 20mm movement of the carriage
before reaching the material to make sure the axis has finished
accellerating. This is probably excessive but I'm not mass producing.
