Well,

I know how tough it can be to put together great manuals.

But I'd at least expect to have a description which ties it all
together.

I'm still not sure my assumption that an unbridged jumper pair is a
one. Cause the example board I had handy is older. Worst case,
you'll get 1/4 and 1/2 backwards. And full and 1/8 similarly
backwards. I always check anyways. Set mach to 3200 steps per unit,
and then you can use jog size or MDI to quickly determine if the
jumpers are right.
