Re: Shop Camera

For $79 you can get a logitech webcam that has 3.1 megapixel imager.
High speed USB can go 5 meters (don't skimp -- buy a good cable if
you're going this far). If you're doing a visual inspection from
remote (like the next room) your machine's computer can relay the
video. Rather than telephoto or macro, digital zoom at far end...

Or maybe it's just too late for me...
