If you get one of their cameras that has an adjustable
lens then you can focus it to just a few mm from the
lens surface. This results in a high magnification
level.

I have a PC180XS camera and the lens is in a threaded
barrel. It is held at it's setting by a tiny set screw. If
you loosen the set screw the lens can be adjusted to
give a very high magnification. The case is die cast
metal and the lens adjusts very nicely.

Looking through their catalog it looks like many cameras
have adjustable lenses. This particular camera is very
low light and works amazing well in dimly lit situations.

This camera looks like it has an adjustable lens but I have
not tried it. You can't hardly go wrong for $11.95.

If you don't need color you are better off with black
and white. You will see greater detail and avoid
odd color artifacts.
