Marshall Electronics http://www.mars-cam.com/optical.html has a wide range
of cameras, lenses, and other video stuff. They have "bullet", "lipstick",
enclosed, and board cameras. I've bought their board cameras, these are
cheap and you can stuff them in a container of your choice.

If color isn't really needed, the B&W cameras/monitors have much higher
resolutions than the color stuff. Just be sure to use a B%W monitor...

prices are from $125 to <$200 for the cameras. A power supply is needed, as
well as a monitor.

Some of these cameras are intended for machine vision applications, they
have the ability to turn AGC and gamma off.

These prices make a Logitech USB camera look pretty good. If you have an
old laptop around you'd be in business.

Any suggestions on Camera brand, and models? Prices, Links?

Feel free to educate me on the right terms. As I don't understand what I
see in the catalogs compared to what I want.

Come on guys I need some more suggestions, and answers on this, especially
the use of C mounts, lenses with any of the lipstick size cameras, with
video
outputs.

And I do feel it is on topic, as it allows old weak eyed old men see what
there CNC machine is doing.
