Hi Graham,

Maximator are a German company. They have an offshoot that produces a
commercial waterjet cutting system. The systems are based on the
pressure units their main company produces. I have seen pictures of
the nozzle its roughly 3 to 4" long and has a stone of some
description with a .3mm hole mounted in the end. This attaches
directly to the pump from what i can remember. I will try and dig up
some more info.

I remember all this from quite a few years ago as i was talking with
some cad guys at a local engineering firm that do work in the oil and
gas industry here in New Zealand. I happened to mention that i was
looking to build a waterjet cutting head.

One of the pumps i did see had a outlet pressure rating of 65000 psi
and weighed 13kg with a flow rate of around .4litres/min

Pretty impressive for a little pump.

Regards, Rob
