If I were going to try something, I'd get a bunch of cheap diamond blades
and use them in a 4in grinder. I'm not sure exactly what I'd do for dust

into a dust collection system for fear of ruining any fan bearings in the
system. Since you're already considering water-jet cutting, maybe a simple
water spray.
