From what I know and its not much you want to use an abrasive like
garnet, this will help lower the pressure requirements and I believe
also reduces the chances of delamination. I'm suspecting a big
project and not as clean as expected.

Here's another idea, if you were intending to build a new machine just
for this task what about a submerged cutting router, if its just
routing you could make a long tool holder and keep the spindle dry etc
just run the dirty water through some makeshift filter system or
better use a centrifugal filter. And you know that it just has to work.
