Steppers "thunking"

Hi all,

I just got my Taig rig up and running last night (w/Xylotex 3-axis
driver) and I noticed my steppers "thunk" every few inches or so. I'm
pretty sure this is them missing a step or two. I'm not making anything
complicated yet though (mostly straight lines for testing) so I can't
tell for certain.

I'm pretty certain my drive voltage is set correctly for the steppers.
Is this more likely a problem with the drive voltage or maybe the power
supply itself?
