RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Steppers "thunking"

Eek. Yes, I'm running Mach3. I did the driver test and it's the
response isn't perfect. It's not totally messed up, but it's not as
good as my desktop. It's on a new laptop (Dell D620, dual core 1.6ghz,
1 gig ram, etc). Does the timing sound like it might be the cause?

What are you driving them from?
That sounds like the usual problem when Mach3 is not running cleanly ;)
