As far as I know most TV's / Monitors etc sold in Europe are NOT - PAL /
NTSC switchable.

Anyhow PAL / NTSC only applies if you are using a composite input - RGB
monitors are RGB
which is a different system to composite & apart from vertical & horizontal
line frequencies to suit
various monitor resolutions (VGA / SVGA etc) is a universal standard.

Pal yes, it requires no hardware mods. Just a firmware modification
that we will do once we get our hads on a PAL monitor to test. Also
not sure if this is correct but we were told that most TVs/videos
monitors sold in Europe are NTSC/PAL compatible. Maybe someone can
confirm?

RGB, no plan yet.
