Either XP or 2000 are OK for mach.
If you are used to XP I would tend to use that, it's also a little more user
friendly than 2000.
Make sure the PC is fast enough.

Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] which OS ? XP or 2000 ?
I need to get a new box and Tiger Direct has a couple $200 machines,
some have XP, some have 2000
I plan on using Mach3.
Any suggestions on which is easier to use ?
which is more stable ?
I currently use XP and hate it as compared to 98se
I am more of a user than a programmer, so some of the problem is that
I don't know how to keep some of the XP 'features' like stickykeys
from loading and clogging the works.
