I got the 555 timer chip to work, and it works real good. It will
ramp automatically, by way of the trim pot.

Ideally, yes it would be nice to set it to a specific rate and press a
button to ramp up & down.

I'm using the atmega8 chips, in C language. If there is code or links
I would appreciate those too, thanks!
