maybe the questions is if anyone knows of a group where they talk about these units ?

I have some similar units. got at an auction. I have not tried to connect them.

I was lead to understand buy the guy that sold them, that they need a direction and a pulse signal. If it very possible he was just trying to sell them and did not know how they worked.

if they take a step and direction, then they can be used like a gecko.
