Without knowing the model, I suspect the SS20001 is designed to perform
a sequence
of moves over and over, when given a start command. Is that what you really
want? Pre-programmed moves with no computer involved?

Or, do you want to move steppers directly under computer control? In that
case, don't use the SS20001, but connect the SS2000D6 drives to a computer
running a program such as Mach3 or LinuxCNC. These programs can
take a toolpath description in "G Code" and send step and direction
signals through the parallel port to a motor drive.
