dave I am pretty certain the kelling motors and drivers are the same as the
shangzhou as i have found the drivers with eerily similar pat numbers and
construction. As to motor size the larger the motor the slower it will be
that is the reason I recommended the 450 or so size motors ive got the
1600s and right now the most i can get is 60 ipm I am currently researching
higher voltage drives as it calculates that my motors will handle 135 vdc.
And that figures to about 220 ipm much better for the production im trying
to run, keeping the voltage near the max and carefully tuning accel and
limiting microsteps will dramatically affect missed steps. oh and have I
plugged linuxcnc today :)
