i went with the 1600 oz in because i have a large table and intend on
putting a trunnion table on it for a fourth axis . i have run head long
into the voltage problem and am currently at 56 v 15 a untill ii get around
to replacing drives or building a power supply but havent yet found
reasonable drives that will handle 130 dc which is the calculated maximum
for my motors. also just for info pminmo has some excellent calculators on
their site as does jones on steppers. Ultimately i think my problems will
be resolved with servos but the steppers will have to earn their keep
until then
