configurable that most of the ones you see. Mine allows you to set the
temperature to F, but changes it back to C. Weird, but not a biggie.
It's a bit of crap-shoot as to what you'll get, at a minimum they all
control an oven, but everything else is a bonus. The manual lists
everything, but that doesn't mean it's there, even on the same model number.
Some do thermistors, K-type to 1400, RS-424, offset compensation, etc. The
DX model has 2 alarms, but the relay for the second one isn't populated.
I want one that does banding (hold temperature between 2 points) for a
laser. Laser tubes like say 20-24C, and so you may need to heat the water
as well as cool it on occasions. Laser tubes are like Goldilocks, they like
it just right. Not an issue with print heads.
DIY temperature control isn't worth the effort these days. I mean:
