Alan,
S/W that uses "higher" level DOS functions to check keypresses will
be subject to the auto-repeat(typematic). However, if you go lower
level(at the scan-code level), you have one number for "make";
ANOTHER for "break". What you "do" with this info is up to you...
Not sure what you're gaining on a sherline to do this "virtual" hand
jive? The axes won't back drive. The wheels are small and easily
manipulated. Unless you're going into the land of "write your own"
s/w", you are not gaining anything by virtualizing the sherline
handwheels!?!?
