Thank you. I do use ctrl-c, x, and v often in composing my posts.
Which means at any point the clipboard can have a little or a lot on
it. Hadn't thought to do a select all/ ctrl-c just before attempting
to post. Feel like I SHOULDN"T have to, but...

I'm still wondering; there must be a local copy of the text I'm
typing, right?!? Surely I'm not sending each letter or line across
the net as I type!

Does anybody know where this local copy might be kept? And how I
might access it after a 'burp'.

P.S. I'm not always on MY computer, so I don't have the luxury of
choosing the email client.
