Alan,

I write mainly in 'C'. Have done limited work with C++, but worki
mainly in Unix, most of the stuff is still in vanilla 'C'. I am
starting a complete re-write of a large app and it will be in C++.
Used to use perl a lot, but haven't in the last few years.

Also have done a fair bit of VB in the last 3 years and scripting
stuff on the Windows side.

I have not touched any asembler since the days of writing device
drivers for tape backup sustems under DOS.

Is the MaxNC control software configurable for different hardware
drivers or do they give you any source to modify your own?
