Robin,

I'm currently working with another guy to graft this capability
into TurboCNC. He wants to run a PLC system alongside the machine to
work some sort of solenoid wizardry to prep parts. Naturally this
requires a bit of handshaking with the control, but surprisingly
little else.

Anyway, it wouldn't be too weird to try and generalize this to
handle a myriad of different situations - personally I've been
wanting to add auto-changer capability for a while. Feel free to
contact me off-list about it.
