Actually I have a newer servo motor that is better suited to the
Taig/Sherline/Mini mill. It is rated at 190 oz in, is 2.125" dia by about 4"
long, has a dual 1/4 shaft though the encoder is mounted on one end. I plan
to put a 200 CPR encoder on it and test it on my Sherline. I currently have
a 500 CPR encoder on it but it is too slow i.e.
. I hate to hazard a guess but I would think with the 500 CPR and running
Maxnc it gets about 15 -20 IPM With the 200 CPR it ought to get up to 60 IPM
or better. I hope to have it listed on my web site by Friday in the product
section.
