As a software developer I don't want to see piracy increase, but when I
purchase a program with a hardlock, I remove it and patch the program so it
works. I don't see this as any different than buying a car and changing some
engine parts for better performance, It is legally mine, and I won't stand
for anyone else telling me how to deal with my property. Sims and Hardlocks
are just too intrusive to my computer. There are better ways to protect the
software you write. (This is not an Advertisement, I will NOT remove dongles
for anyone other than myself.).
