The companies that stand behind their product have some kind of
demo version, trial offer, or something like that. Protel (electronic
cad) and a number of others have mechanisms like that.
The ones that WON'T let you try out their software give you the
feeling they have something to hide - like lots of bugs, a crummy user
interface, or severe limitations.
