Hello Hugh,
Just as your supplier, any salesman from Kennametal, Iscar,
Sandvik and many other brands have them but only for aluminium
and plastic use.
The HSS inserts will always be special order and pricey.
So I will only recommend them for big batches or if most work is done in
these materials.
In my case the few times I work in alu I use a positive roughing insert.
