Hi Jon,
Yes! Something like that WOULD be a good find. I mostly saw Shugarts,
don't remember any board like that (it's been a while). The +24v was
needed for the stepper drive, and there is usually a "drive chip" on the
board, and/or driven by the LSI chip. Who made the drives you saw?
