Better yet, maybe I can describe it...others might be interested too.
Instead of using a standard push/pull cyklinder, incorporate a rotary air
cylinder into the bottom of the table.
These can be puchased or you could build it into the table. The 1-1/2"
thickness of the table would be plenty to allow for this and you could
eliminate the arm sticking out from the side.
You could also build in adjustable stops to regulate the amount of travel
tyou require. Travel can be well ove 300 degrees using this method.
