Rio Grande sell these high speed air operated motors for jewellery stuff. I
read the little description they give and it said 300,000 rpm. I thought for
a few minutes, that can not be right! But it is. If you want one tell your
bank manager you're taking up dentistry and you'd like to know if he'd
donate some money for one. All they are is a little mini turbine fan inside
a tube but I bet that make that really cool whizzing noise you hear at just
before the pain starts. : )
