You might consider using the TI DSP C language compiler. In the past, I've
done some image analysis software with it and was happy with the results.
The bonus was that I could check out a lot of the code on a PC usign
Borland's complier and debugger, then move the code over to the DSP and have
it work. A much nicer situation than trying to debug on the DSP.
