Correct. EMC is a machine control program pretty much like Ahha, MaxNC,
and the rest. MDI would allow execution of single line commands.
Between my collection of programs and my dad's, there is a huge
investment in time. Down the road when stress levels are a bit lower and
I have more time to play around in the shop, I'd be much more inclined
to mess with something like your direct Indexer front end. For now, I've
got enough of a learning curve in several other fronts.
