I got my 24 volt switcher from MPJA, Marlin P Jones Associates, seems to
work ok but is obviously not of the highest quality, but then it was only
$59.95, I think. Any way, the 100 Ohm resistor is hooked to the + 24 volt
terminal along with the + side of the motor power input on the 5AMP drivers,
the other side of the resistor is hooked to the + side of the 15000uf
capacitor. The negative terminal is hooked to the negative side of the
capacitor and the negative side of the motor power input on the 5AMP
drivers. This may not be the accepted method of hooking up the capacitor
and resistor but it is the method that works with this power supply. It
seems to provide a little filtration and enough of a load to stabilize this
power supply. I plan on replacing it with a 36 volt linear supply real
soon. I am going to purchase the components from Camtronics for their power
supply which I am sure will work much better that this switcher does.
