Mazak machines that are equipped with mazatrol controls do this just a
little different. The conversational mode that they use does not translate
the conversation into any standard other than their own mazatrol language.
Yes they have a g-code mode that will allow you to run them using some
variant of m and g code but I suspect that they translate the g code into
their own proprietary stuff before they run it.

By doing their own programming code they are able to do some things that
are difficult to do or take a lot of memory to do using standard code.
