I think you said it perfectly.
Lots of homebrew CNC people are thinking or dreaming of putting their
machines to work.
There are also guys out there (on this list too, I'll wager) who solicit
quotes and have no idea what it costs.
My vote (are you listening, Bill??) is to let this thread run.
It's VERY appropriate to this list.
