Why not fabricate your own single-point thread mill? Using some good
quality drill rod, it shouldn't be too dificult, just figure the exact
thread form for the helical wrap vs the pitch, then produce a tool that
will fit into the taphole, harden it and temper it and... voila! (is that
correct spelling ?) Now fed to depth, then feed to starting point, begin
your spiral cut, feeding upward, as you back out of the hole C-CW
(shouldn't have to remove the chips that-a-way).
