Hello,
Vlier is to "Ball plunger", as Kleenex is to "facial tissue". In
other words, a brand name...
I suspected Fred meant ball plungers, when he first posted, but had
not heard the Vlier brand before... Probably due to our different
locales.

P.S. I think this is overkill. IMO, A 20T, 25T, 50T or 100T gear and
a piece of spring steel (bent into a "v" or "U" wiper) will be
cheaper, equally adjustable, and require less fabrication than some
of the methods already proposed...
