COM objects implies the Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP environment, does it not?
If that's the case, what performance penalties would you expect? I'm
thinking that, with the amount of time that the operating environment takes
(often at the most inopportune times), you'd have a real difficulty sending
a smooth pulse train to your motors. If it's not the case, what operating
environment are you thinking of? Has anyone come up with a "real time
windows" as they seem to have done for Linux?
