Don't forget, this includes the underlying OS as well.
Just doing a quick byte count, including all the various driver modules and
GUI scripts, it comes out at 12.4M - Reducing everything to the bare
essentials, you'd probably get away with less than 4M.
As a compressed archive, it is frequently distributed on just four 1.4M
floppies.
The BDI disk installs a linux system along with all the support libraries to
run EMC as well as a whole host of other applications.
