I would recommend some higher torque motors that have a lower voltage and a
higher amperage (meaning lower inductance). I just so happen to have some
very nice PacSci 8 wire 214 in/oz single shaft NEMA 23 motors that would
work perfect. They are brand new. I am not selling them at a give away
price, but it is significantly less than Camtronics or any other online
vendors I have seen sell them for. If interested contact me off list at
timg@...
Put these motors with an appropriate drive and you should be good for 50+
ipm.
