Thanks Mariss. Since you listed your suggested procedure I take it
the answer is Yes the G901 will work with the original G201. :)
I've never removed solder with a Pin Vise and Drill Bit before. A
fast touch of fresh solder, Chem Wick or a Desoldering Pistol (good
one), and experience have always done the trick in the past. I'll
keep that trick in mind.
I had already decided to sacrifice the Opto and pin for pin desolder
to minimize the possibility of damage to the board.
