I don't see why not with a few modifications......

For one thing, most Vinyl cutters (which are cnc machines) have a teflon strip under the blade at all times in case you cut completely thru your material (by accident). This is the case where the
material moves and it is not a flatbed type machine. You would want to have some sort of sealf healing mat under your material at all times for a simular situation or wreck the job and break a
knife.

You probably won't make the speed a vinyl cutter makes.... (blazing fast) but it should work.
