Re: X- Axis won't do as it's told

Just an update on me checking everything.
I unplugged the //port and tested the cable with a multimeter and
found that the X dir axis measures 2.2 Ohms and all the other wires
are only 0.9 Ohms. Tomorrow I will sent the little lady down to my
electronics store and get another connector then I can cut off the
end and solder a new one on it. I hope that may fix the problem and
I will try and separate the moulding on the plug to see where the
problem may lie then some of you may be able to warn others of this
type of problem.
The X-dir volts measured 3.2V and 4.3V or there abouts which is way
off Mariss's recommendation so it looks like you were all right. The
Voltage on pin 10 measured 4.98 so that is close enough for me. I am
not sure how to alter the values for the step direction so a little
help may be needed once again.
