Hi nahydro,
You described your encoders as 500 cpr, which refers to
counts per revolution. Encoder manufactures rate the
counts as the number of pulses generated per revolution.
The Gecko, and most circuits used with CNC, decode in
quadrature mode. This results in one increment for each
pulse edge or four times the CPR rating. This could be
cause of your 1.25 turns instead of 5 turns at the motor.
