Hi Gene,

Try this on the offending file.
Edit your ini file, at the debug section use the max there is, something
like 0x7FFFFFFFFF. When you start EMC use a shell to run the program,
don't just click on the icon on the desktop. Take it out of estop, turn it
on
and open the file. Run a verify on the file and while it's verifing, bring
the
shell terminal window into view and you will see each line passing by
followed by a message that says 'returned 0' (that's a good thing). When
it gets to the line it doesn't like it should stop, and start scrolling some
general messages by the screen. If you click the scroll bar on the terminal
window it should stop scrolling and you can see exactly what line the
problem is with, and the error message returned. I have seen problems like
this at times on my system. I'm not sure what causes it but the gcode file
that I take from my windows will drop a few characters when I copy it to
my EMC machine. G0X10Y20 may now be G010Y20. I think the EMC
error messages don't all show up and the highlighted line in EMC is not
always up to date on a program with lots of small moves. If you still can't
find it, send me the file and I will try it on my machine. Remember to look
real close at the bad line as the errors are not always obvious.
