I have one of these power supplies from MPJA and it worked fine for my CNC
setup. What I had to do to make it work with my drivers was to place a
15000 uf 35 wvdc electrolytic capacitor across the output in series with a
10 watt resistor. This stabilized the output so that my Camtronics 5AMP
Bipolar Chopper drivers would work with it. I have since built a linear
supply but I was able to use the MPJA unit successfully until I could build
a linear supply.
