Hi Bill:
So far as I know, Teflon is not moldable...but it can be sintered.
There are many engineering thermoplastics that are teflon filled however,
and these are moldable.
Teflon can be machined without difficulty...but it is very soft and hard to
hang on to.
It will often squish its way right out of a 3 jaw chuck like a greased pig,
and just like its namesake, the harder you squeeze, the faster it pops out.
Plan on wasting a lot of your material for anchor points to your machines,
and plan on lots of ingenuity for fixturing.
I've found I need to use only brand-new cutters, and the material is so soft
that it's hard to measure accurately.
But it cuts like butter.
