I am well awre of that, and I have taken it into consideration in
the design of my machine. There is a lot that I still have to
research before I can even start building the machine. Hopefully by
the end of January, maybe February....
The Gecko's will NOT be microsteppers.

I do have a question though, about rack and pinions.
I assume that it will take a bigger motor to do the same work as
ball screws, right?
Any way of figuring it out?
