A 2:1 ratio would have the motor turn 3000 rpm in my previous
example based on 300 ipm.
Is the motor capable of this rpm?
How many steps per revolution?
Microstepping can get you quickly towards the limits of the
capability of the software.
Pulse timing usually becomes more erratic when aproching the
high end of emission wich can limit a motors usable top rpm.
